Mission Statement
The mission of IndependentActor Productions, LLC is to foster, promote and produce high caliber, independent theater television and multimedia productions, which are fully funded by the firm’s signature “strategic theatrical marketing” approach.  IndependentActor Productions develops innovative marketing methodologies to form synergistic partnerships between each production with corporations that are seeking marketing and branding opportunities as well as individual investors who support the arts.  These collaborative partnerships are mutually beneficial.  Corporations are able to target a specific demographic and to raise brand awareness for their products, while the original vision and artistic integrity of the play remain intact as unique aspects of the play are optimized as marketing opportunities to secure sponsorships for the production. 

Who We Are
Actor and artistic director Cynthia White founded IndependentActor Productions, LLC in New York City in 2000.  IndependentActor Productions is an extension of a mission White had begun in 1999 when she launched her IndependentActor classes to guide actors, comics and performance artists to take charge of their careers, to create their own opportunities, and to land the projects and roles they most desire.  In addition to her creative talents, White is adept in development for theater and the arts, bringing tremendous business savvy to the company as an experienced theatrical and television producer who has worked extensively with marketers, advertisers and sponsors.  Recent projects include the comedy radio show, Dirty Divas and the 2002 Off-Broadway hit, Loose Knit, generously sponsored by Bacardi, Godiva, Crunch Fitness, Liz Claiborne and West Elm, a division of Williams-Sonoma. IAP and Artistic Director Cynthia White have been recognized with financial and technical support from the New York Foundation for the Arts, Seedco, American Express, The Women’s Venture Fund and The Fund for Women Artists.
